I do not claim ownership of any of the following music/videos in any way whatsoever, and as such they are in no way my personal property whatsoever - i have simply chosen, of my own free-will, to showcase them here in order to provide some education/entertainment/relaxation/upliftment to both myself and all others who may like to watch/listen to their contents - if you find that you have enjoyed listening to them, then please consider purchasing them for yourself, in order to help the artist(s)/individual(s) further along their chosen journey through life...

Do You Realize?? ~ The Flaming Lips...

'Do you realize???' - the exact words that played unexpectedly within my mind on a number of successive/repeated occasions, during last Monday and Tuesday especially...

...Twas what spawned my journey into 'The Flaming Lips' music - and resulted in me purchasing the 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots' CD album - and then listening to the whole of their 'Greatest Hits Vol. 1' album on YouTube, in order to garner a greater appreciation of their rather extensive musical offerings over the years...

Why??? - because they sat particularly well within my mind for almost all of the remaining week - and they passed the test of much repeated listening to / playing...

In The Morning Of The Magicians ~ The Flaming Lips...

I find Wayne Coyne's voice to be a particularly interesting one to listen to...

In some of the bands/groups offerings, i would most readily describe his vocals as very much being akin to a perhaps psychedelic version of Neil Young's voice - (most readily detected in tracks/tunes such as 'She Don't Use Jelly' and 'Waiting For Superman', for example - from my perspective, at least)...

I feel pretty sure that Wayne must have been told this, on perhaps a repeated number of occasions, during the years - i would be very much surprised if he hasn't been anyway, that's for sure...
