2020

I do not claim ownership of any of the following music/videos in any way whatsoever, and as such they are in no way my personal property whatsoever - i have simply chosen, of my own free-will, to showcase them here in order to provide some education/entertainment/relaxation/upliftment to both myself and all others who may like to watch/listen to their contents - if you find that you have enjoyed listening to them, then please consider purchasing them for yourself, in order to help the artist(s)/individuals further along their chosen journey through life...

As 'luck' would have it, i timed Pink Floyd's latest(???) COVID-19 YouTube performance near perfectly (about 15 mins early actually), when it was aired a few days ago - i was completely unaware of such a timed airing of such a previously recorded performance beforehand btw...

Anyway one of the tracks performed reminded me that some Pink Floyd music had been selected during my earlier in the year break - for later publishing on this 'ear website of ours...

And as one of the other previously selected songs was the first one that came to mind as i was exiting my bed this morning, i decided that it must have been a gentle reminder (which was seemingly reinforced during most of my earlier walkies btw) from my 'good buddy' Syd - so let's go with the flow yeah...

1) Atom Heart Mother Suite (Full Song) ~ Pink Floyd...

During the airing of such a concert (which Syd (from my perspective at least) called 'half-assed' btw (chuckle chuckle)) Syd was saying that he thought Pink Floyd were 'too straight' and 'not experimental enough' (i guess Syd must have been a bit 'out there' yeah), which i found to be rather amusing...

What i like most about 'my good buddy' Syd, is his raw, somewhat quirky, honesty btw...

I find it to be very refreshing/welcoming(??? not always that's for sure), and it often makes me chuckle, as indeed the sometimes 'off-beat' Syd generally does (apart from when he's on one, so to speak) - in a strange sort of way at least...

2) Echoes ~ Pink Floyd...

I used to play this regularly, for a period of time, back inth day...

I used to switch the lights off, put me 'cans' on, lay prone on the carpeted floor in our rear 'lounge', close my eyes, and let it carry me away, so to speak...

The parts that i have always especially liked are those of the repeated echoey 'ping' of what i rightly or wrongly take to be the sound emanating from a submarine...

3) Free Four ~ Pink Floyd...

This was seemingly my 'reminder song' as i was exiting my bed earlier this morning (and seemingly during most of my earlier walkies too)...

And although i had played all three of the above (plus one other btw) before going to bed last night, i was thinking that such a selection was not really typical 'Sunday music', so had considered other previously prepared options instead...

So maybe this energetically upbeat track was indeed a 'reminder' for me - such as i have taken it to be anyway...
