Cat (now 'Yusuf' btw) would seem to have developed a genuine interest in the gentle teachings of Islam (to which he later converted, from Christianity(???)) - i sense, rightly or wrongly, that he may have been somewhat concerned that he could possibly be 'whacked' by a seemingly lurking 'shadow' ('move on'), simply for choosing, of his own free-will, to pursue/follow such an interest perhaps...
