A statement that i could perhaps particularly relate to myself - perhaps through the majority of my life actually, upon occasion at least - although much more recently i have found myself trying/seeking to lessen such often unintended seeming 'blows'/inconveniences upon others by seeking to modify the way in which i convey certain thoughts, by putting them into more readily acceptable/agreeable/palatable words...

However, in order to be more clearly/readily/effectively understood, some things, upon occasion at least, obviously/really need to be communicated far more directly, do they not...
