Some, are / have been, accredited to other people specifically - and some have simply come to mind in a variety of different ways perhaps...
I / We perhaps, intend to use this part of the/my/Our website as a simple repository of/for such aphorisms - and in order that visitors may partake of such offered aphorisms, if indeed they so choose to do so...
