The Walkies Diet...

All three below songs/tunes came to mind at separate progressive times during such a three-week dietary period...

The first one was Given to me after i had awoken sometime in the night to go for a needed pee-pee - with the second and third selections coming to mind during later day times...

Thus my reason for offering them in the order in which they came to me...




Hole In My Shoe ~ Traffic...

Well, one of my walking boots actually - my right one to be precise...

And it was more of an area of increasing wear (a number of them actually) within the Vibram sole that caused water/wetness to permeate through to a couple of places within my socks, rather than an outright hole...

Twas during the period of rather plentiful rainfall that beset the first and possibly second weeks of rather essential dietary walkies actually...

Baggy Trousers ~ Madness...

I think it may have been the latter end of the second week of such a diet that i noticed that my clothes felt somewhat looser than they had been before such a three-week dietary regimen had commenced...

The first thing i noticed was that the sleeves of my upper clothing had seemingly lengthened - and then, a little later, i noticed that said upper clothing had somehow become larger/looser...

And then, at possibly a later date/time still, i noticed that my trousers (jeans actually) seemed a lot looser/baggier than they had previously been...

Let's Walk ~ David Bowie...

It would very much seem that 'Davy B' (to me only of course) must have misHeard some of these particular Inspired lyrics - seemingly choosing to Hear them as 'Let's Dance' instead...

Perhaps he had simply over-imbibed in some respect at the time eh - but hey, we all make mistakes from time to time after all don't we, so no particular biggie eh...

And it is a rather fitting inclusion anyway, as David's face occasionally appears (smiling mostly - unless He is left slightly aghast at something i have said to a passer-by perhaps 'it ain't what you say, it's the way that you say it' lolz) within mind during walkies times (from my own personal perspective of course) - and hey, maybe Let's Dance is a fitting title after all, if only within a metaphorically celebratory context...
