The Garden

The day i walked in your garden

To remonstrate with you

It was forbidden that i look on your face

But you were there i knew

An Angel stood to bar my way

Please let me pass i said in pain

I've come to speak for the poor and the weak

Not for my own personal gain

I heard the voice from the garden

The leaves all trembled and shook

And then the feeling of peace came

As the presence read from the book

Until all is full filled that is written

I can't stop the suffering and pain

But i bear the suffering with you

Hold fast till i come back again

For i am the way and i am the life

The Word from the start to the end

My Father is Almighty GOD

The Thought - on whom all life transcends

The Power and glory belong to the Father

The architect of all creation and love

The builder his son is our Lord Jesus Christ

The spirit is the power from above

I stood at one end of the garden

And a giant black cross did appear

Around its edge was a shining light

Whose brightness made the cross disappear

All that was left was the brightness

And away went my worry and fear

The pain was quickly diminished

The Power of God was here

Jacob's Ladder

On a rung of Jacob's ladder just a few rungs from the top

Turning for a lingering look, what i saw just made me stop

A brother who was so weary his children thirsting full of need

A sister that was hungry with so many mouths to feed

A multitude of homeless in a world where there's no lack

People bearing burdens, enough to break a heart or back

But a single prayer was uttered and soon help was on its way

It's name was peace its power love, miracles the order of the day

On a rung of Jacob's ladder now there is no time for sleep

For the Comforter brought the angels to find and feed the sheep

On the rungs of Jacob's ladder at the bidding of the Lord

Was placed a crown, a robe of red, the holy two edged sword

The Other Side Of Nowhere

From the other side of nowhere

I came upon by sheer chance

A marble bridge and golden river

Where silver salmon leapt and danced

The sunlight glistened on the water

As a fire in burnished copper gleams

And a fountain of rainbow ripples

Flowed as from a thousand streams

The marble bridges iridescence

Shining silver pink and green

Built to separate all eternity

From times illusionary scene

I saw blue marble mountains,

Rocks of rubies, pearl and gold

Wooded glades and crystal fountains

Opalescent skies with grace unfold

The gardens seemed to stretch forever

With flowers no mortal could conceive

And the leaves on the trees so beautiful

Had to be seen and heard to be believed

From the other side of nowhere

Where love and peace lasts forever

Upon the Path on the golden road

Over the bridge on the golden river

The Forever Day

Pass by the pure crystal fountain

Through the Halls and Pillars of Time

Along the beautiful banks of the river

Where a million stars twinkle and shine

Hear the sounds of angels singing

Near where harp and dulcimer plays

Until the sound of a single trumpet

Announces eternity's ending of days

High on a hill on the banks of the river

Stands two thrones neath a rainbow of green

Skies gleam the shades of mother of pearl

Its breath taking beauty feels more like a dream

Peace and joy in the air overflowing

Multitudes gather and then kneel to say

Glory and thanks to the Heavenly Father

For gifting this promised Forever day
