Whilst listening to a Gerry Rafferty song on Radio 2 (yeah, such a BBC embargo has now been lifted) onth 22 August 2023 i realised, much to my surprise, that none of Gerry's great tunes had yet been highlighted within MUSIC...

So, this morning (23 August 2023) i decided to rectify such an obvious omission by listening to some of his musical offerings via my stereo system - and simply 'Listened' for the ones that felt 'right' to offer - and guess what, i then quickly realised (yes, unusual for me, i know) that the ones that did feel 'right' seemed to carry a theme of the absence of, and returning to A Team duties...

The A Team Members suck-up song to me, for sure - obviously trying to woo me back into action eh - but hey, tis nice to feel needed once again i guess...

Prolly some new Interns wishing to reap the successful rewards that certain Others have seemingly done before them eh...

And if so, well, who am i to deny Them of Their aspirational wishes eh - well, at least for a while i guess - and within a certain sense of personal sufferance obviously :-) ;-) :-) ...

Recovering (from) my energies/(lethargy), both through rest and simply putting my mind and body to other personally chosen activities...

But hey, it worked, and my energies returned, and my mind became refreshed/enthused once again :-) :-) :-) ...

This tune is my favourite of the three offered actually (and one that i simply 'knew' would most likely be included upon reading its title on the back of my City To City cd, pre listening) ...

Tis upbeat and joyful after all...

And it gets me body boppin' in appreciation whilst sat here on me computer chair :-) :-) :-) ...
