New AURORA Music...

I ordered a copy of AURORA's 'The Gods We Can Touch' album on the day after its release, and rather surprisingly received it the very next day - however, it was only a couple of days ago that i realised that each track/tune is connected to a different Greek god/goddess (apparently anyway), which came as a great surprise to me...

There is not one single duff track on it - in actual fact there is not one single duff track within any of AURORA's three so far released physical albums - a fact that i find to be rather extraordinary actually...

So a rather unique album, whose lyrics are rather creatively linked/connected to a series of different Greek gods/goddesses - how amazingly unusual is that eh - twood very much seem that 'our' young Aurora has quite a brain on her, as well as a rather unique and welcoming voice of course...

Anyway, after listening to 'The Gods We Can Touch' album on circa five separate occasions now, these are the three i have chosen to showcase...

In truth, i could have possibly chosen any three from a personally highlighted seven favourite tracks - or possibly even more - for as i said earlier, there isn't a single duff track on the album...

So, here's hoping you enjoy listening to such a personally chosen selection :-) :-) :-) ...

Everything Matters (ft. Pomme) ~ AURORA...

This particular track is apparently linked to the Greek god Atlas...

However, after studying the lyrics, i can't, in all honesty, see the connection...

Kratos, Zephyrus, or Zeus would have been my guess - but hey, i haven't been blessed with the creative mind of an artist have i - the ability to express oneself in a rather subtle and possibly obliquely artistic manner...

A Temporary High ~ AURORA...

I really enjoy the rather joyful/fun primate sounding 'ooh ooh ooh' contained within this particular track...

But Janus??? (as some comments suggested within one particular YouTube video) - nay surely (Janus is a Roman god after all right???) - Aphrodite (as in aphrodisiac), or Eros, or Kotys perhaps???...

Or maybe i am simply a bit crap at this type of Greek god/goddess musical assignment game???...

A Dangerous Thing ~ AURORA...

Now this one i could sort of understand...

The Greek goddess Peitho apparently...

Giving me a possible score of 1 out of 3 - and as Meat Loaf may possibly say - one out of three is bad :-) :-) :-) ...
