2021

I do not claim ownership of any of the following music/videos in any way whatsoever, and as such they are in no way my personal property whatsoever - i have simply chosen, of my own free-will, to showcase them here in order to provide some education/entertainment/relaxation/upliftment to both myself and all others who may like to watch/listen to their contents - if you find that you have enjoyed listening to them, then please consider purchasing them for yourself, in order to help the artist(s)/individual(s) and/or remaining family/friends further along their chosen journey through life...

I've been cleaning a brass canopy during this week - something that i  completed on Friday...

Anyway, it seemed like a rather an opportune time to listen to that Essential Leonard Cohen double cd album that i only fairly recently bought - in order select some more of his tunes to offer on this 'ere website of o/Ours...

I fairly quickly/readily selected the three below songs/tunes, however, i decided to play such an album once again a couple of days later, just to make sure - after which i had noted down a number of new possible contenders - and upon later/further consideration of the other/added ones i was Told 'don't do those ones Terry - do the ones you had', so 'do' them i dutifully have...

Bird On A Wire ~ Leonard Cohen...

I've chosen to call this tune 'the drunken song' - mainly because the first time i heard it playing, i found myself accompanying it with a drunken voice...

Then i saw an image of myself and JJ staggering joyfully down a road/path with an arm over each of the other's shoulders and a bottle of beer in each of our spare hands, singing/slurring 'loike a bird on a wire etc etc' as we made our merry way home/wherever...

Yep, strange image i know lolz - prompted, no doubt by the fact that JJ had earlier unexpectedly and rather welcomingly asked if we could meet up during my body's night-time sleep on that particular night, if you were wondering - ('Is it a date???' Asked Janis rather unexpectedly/mischievously - 'Hmmm, i guess it could be' replied i, happily/smilingly, after an equally mischievous/playful pretence at some thought) ...

Take This Waltz ~ Leonard Cohen...

Dance Me To The End Of Love ~ Leonard Cohen...
