A Birthday-Boy Song...

A few days ago i was reminded of a long overdue fairly discrete textual change/addition that needed doing, for purposes of further clarification - so, today i have indeed remedied such an ongoing oversight - which is to be found immediately after the first of the three offerings (Bird On A Wire) within the 'More Leonard Cohen' MUSICal part of this 'ere website of O/ours, actually/btw...

Anyway, somewhat protractedly perhaps, this, in turn, got me listening to all six of O/our dedicated Leonard Cohen offerings within MUSIC - which caused me to check whether Bird On A Wire was actually written by Leonard Cohen, or perhaps Bob Dylan, as i wrongfully suspected - as i wrongfully thought that i may have to rather belatedly credit Bob Dylan with the writing/composing of such lyrics, within brackets, immediately after the typed title information to such an offered song...

Anyway, once again, the Hallelujah song came to mind also during such a period of time, causing me to once again wonder whether Leonard or someone else had actually written it - and upon realising that Leonard (Lenny) had indeed written it, the thought came as to the possibility of offering it as yet another Sunday song/offering - which, in turn caused me to wonder whether there could be any significance in the timing of such a possible offering, upon which i found that today is in actual fact the 90th anniversary of Lenny's birth date (21 September 1934), at the start of his most recent incarnation here on planet Earth...

Hallelujah ~ Leonard Cohen...

...So, rather than a Sunday offering, i have decided, somewhat atypically perhaps, to offer such a song on this much more appropriate Saturday instead...

Happy birthday Lenny, on what would have been your 90th birthday, had you still been incarnate here on planet Earth...
